ORGANIZATION READINESS ASSESSMENT
The leadership of Opportunity Funding has a depth of experience in public and private sector organizational management. Many times in the hectic pace of putting together and running an organization, leaders sometime take their eye off the mission and vision of the organization. This approach lends itself to decreased support by those that they serve as well as those that fund the organization. In many cases, the leadership of the organization is not aware that a "storm is brewing" until it is too late. In order to be proactive instead of reactive, it is critical to involve the stakeholders and have a very candid assessment of the organization and what are the hurdles impeding the organization's positive evolution. As added value to our clients, Opportunity Funding can deliver an organization readiness assessment that will identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as perceived by by those that they serve as well as those that fund the organization. Opportunity Funding will deliver a detailed action plan that can be used as a road map to success.
PRE-CAMPAIGN PHASE (Opportunity Assessment)
Opportunity Funding's unique Pre-Campaign phase is called the Opportunity Assessment Phase. Fundraising firms provide a feasibility study, also known as a Development Audit, Comprehensive Feasibility Study, Feasibility Analysis, or Goal Assessment and Readiness Assessment, during the pre-campaign phase.
Why do we call our pre-campaign phase unique? Because Opportunity Funding provides our client choices leading to an outcome driven Stakeholder-Led Multi-Year Strategic Plan and a Feasibility Study. That is the value we provide our clients in this most essential phase leading to a funding or capital campaign.
Opportunity Funding's unique alternative DIRECTIONAL ASSESSMENT offers organizations a “safety net” to answer some key questions about the path the organization has followed and in what direction key stakeholders feel is necessary for success. The DIRECTIONAL ASSESSMENT is cost effective and generally targets input from up to 15 key stakeholders.
STAKEHOLDER LED MULTI-YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN
Opportunity Funding's Stakeholder led strategic planning process engages the current public and private investors/members, potential new ones, and local, state, and federal partners. Over the years we have learned that the stakeholders in a community do not want to continue funding organizations without a clear outcome driven plan that has aggressive goals and reports against those goals.
OPPORTUNITY ASSESSMENT PHASE - FEASIBILITY STUDY
Opportunity Funding conducts 50 to 75 confidential one on one feasibility interviews that answers key questions about the plan, the organization, is there support for a capital campaign, who should lead the campaign and potential levels of support. What people help write, they will underwrite. At the end of the OPPORTUNITY ASSESSMENT PHASE, we provide the client a clear road map to success.
